Digitalisation of tourist information in Conil de la Frontera to guarantee quality experience at the destination

The City Council of Conil de la Frontera promoted different actions focused on improving the digitalisation of its tourist information service after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Taking advantage of the destination's tourist application, different guides and routes have been created in online format, which include food markets, craft markets and the different local shops specialising in traditional products.

To facilitate access to tourist information, the application is supplemented with QR codes that are distributed along the itineraries.

These codes allow visitors to find out the location of tourist resources, access information on the most relevant tourist services and visualise the itineraries for routes of great tourist interest, such as the Huerta de Conil Route (Intangible Heritage of Andalusia), the Tuna Route and the Retinto Route.

The development of these routes represents a great step forward for the destination's tourism model, as they promote the diversification of tourist attractions and improve the quality of visitors’ experiences.
