InfoTourist Web: a comprehensive, granular system to facilitate tourism management and information services

InfoTourist Web is the first comprehensive solution created for tourism organisations to assist with digital transformation in both tourism offices and departments.

This tool, based on the OpenWeb24 platform, provides tourist offices with a set of applications to help with the destinations' information management tasks, both in global promotion through their websites and in customer service to tourists who visit the location (interactive windows, information points, digital advert signs, QR codes, etc).
InfoTourist Web consists of a series of modules on internal management, communication and Big Data, and involves the following tools:

  • Content management for running information points (tourism resources, places of interest and contacts).
  • Managing the rotation of audiovisual content on information points.
  • Registering visitors and producing statistics.
  • Producing statistics about visitor interactions with information points.
  • Creating and using surveys.
  • Designing routes.
  • Monitoring storage and products for promotion or sale.
  • Managing customer service queues.

Currently, InfoTourist is being used in over 50 tourist offices in the Region of Valencia and around 60 offices in the rest of Spain. Tourism departments such as Cantur in Cantabria, Prodetur in Seville and Turisme Comunitat Valenciana are using InfoTourist API to gather data from their network of tourist offices.
