Accessible Osuna. Installation of accessible signage

"

Osuna Town Council, through an ambitious plan financed by the ERDF Fund, has launched a digital system of accessible information and signage at its main monuments and public buildings.

This initiative, developed during 2020, aims to ensure that any user, regardless of their accessibility needs, can enjoy Osuna's heritage without any kind of impediment.

This project consists of the following initiatives:

  • Installation of 22 magnetic loops at public service counters (9), room loops installed in the auditoriums of the Museum of Osuna, Casa de la Cultura and City Hall (6) and portable desktop loops (7)
  • Accessible signage with pictograms, high relief texts and Braille
  • 6 videos in Spanish Sign Language (LSE) that complement the information displayed on the information panels.
  • Mobile application containing an interactive guide to Osuna's heritage resources and different essential public services, which will provide information on tourist areas, such as the Palace of the Marqués de la Gomera, the Cilla del Cabildo Colegial and the Quarries of Osuna.
