Prepirineo Clandestino (The Secrets of the Pre-Pyrenees) is an innovative way of discovering the cultural heritage of the Aragonese Pre-Pyrenees.
This geocaching project is developed by the Region of Cinco Villas, together with the Regions of Hoya de Huesca, Somontano de Barbastro and the Asociación Empresarial Prepir.
It is made up of 11 themed trail routes, through which you can learn more about the territory’s art, culture and ethnography. There is one main route, El Tesoro de Al Muqtadir (The Treasure of Al Muqtadir), and 10 other monographic routes: Tierras Medievales (Medieval Lands), Gigantes de Piedra (Stone Giants), Roma Imperial (Imperial Rome), Sefarad, El Tesoro de Al Muqtadir (The Treasure of Al Muqtadir), Ramon y Cajal, Secretos de Guara (Secrets of Guara), Huellas de la Guerra (Traces of War), Tierra de Reconquista (Reconquest Country), Oficios y Tradiciones (Trades and Traditions) and Misterios de la Prehistoria (Prehistoric Mysteries).
Using clues and geolocations that can be found on the website, it is possible to locate the 46 real treasures hidden in different places in the Pre-Pyrenees.
