Digital information and intelligence system for the whole tourist ecosystem in Singapore

The Tourism Information and Services Hub (TIH) is a platform that features a wealth of digital resources where entities within the destination's tourism ecosystem can collaborate, share tourism information and access travel software services.

The platform works as a portal of open data and digital services, featuring information and tourist resources that provide huge benefits to different tourism suppliers. Stakeholders can connect via an API and access all the up-to-date information, which allows them to provide better services and thus increase tourist satisfaction.

Among the associated benefits for tourism operators are the following:

  • Available, up-to-date data about players and stakeholders.
  • Travel software services for travel companies to use on their digital channels.
  • Access to tourism information such as attractions, tours and all kinds of offers to improve their tourism content.
  • Resources and material about the destination that are available to download for free, to promote digital content such as images and videos.
  • The opportunity to connect with tourism companies to set up partnerships or commercial associations, creating collaborations and synergies.

In addition to developing the platform, administrators have created the Singapore Tourism Analytics Network (STAN), which will use aggregate data from both the TIH and the industry to obtain processable information about visitors.
