Ronda’s ticket points. Digitalisation of product information and marketing service
The municipality of Ronda has installed five interactive totems outside the Tourist Office and in the city’s main hotels called "ticket points", whose function is to promote and speed up the marketing service for the destination’s products and experiences.
In addition, these totems, connected to the platform turismoderonda.es, offer contactless payment, thus increasing the commercialisation of local tourist products in different parts of the city.
The platform also includes the PLAN MY TRIP tool, which designs a personalised programme for each visitor based on their experience in the city, their way of travelling, their preferences and the length of their stay, proposing a programme with different plans based on the aforementioned tastes and characteristics, exporting this programme directly to their mobile phones using the QR code generated at the ticket point.
With this formula, the destination manages plans to offer to potential visitors, local businesses increase their sales and visitors are more satisfied with their experiences in the destination.
