Spain is the first EU member state to generate jobs related to the Blue Economy and Blue Tourism. To a large extent, these jobs are related to innovation. Libelium is one of these companies.
There is a growing focus on the conservation of biodiversity and the protection of marine ecosystems, as part of the acknowledgement of their importance in striking an ecological balance and achieving sustainable development. Coastal and marine tourism is progressing towards more sustainable practices, promoting the conservation of the natural and cultural environment, while generating economic opportunities for local communities.
Libelium’s water quality solution makes it possible to constantly monitor water quality in different marine locations. It consists of a hardware device equipped with high-precision sensors and a software platform, offering a unique solution for tourist destinations with marine ecosystems.
Available sensors
By employing IoT sensors in different marine locations, it is possible to gather real-time data on a variety of parameters that affect water quality.
- Optical dissolved oxygen and temperature (OPTOD).
- Titanium optical dissolved oxygen and temperature (OPTOD).
- pH, ORP and temperature (PHEHT).
- Conductivity, salinity and temperature (C4E).
- Inductive conductivity, salinity and temperature (CTZN).
- Turbidity and temperature (NTU).
- Suspended solids, turbidity, sludge blanket and temperature (MES5)
- COD, BOD, TOC, SAC254 and StacSense temperature, 2 mm stagger.
- COD, BOD, TOC, SAC254 and StacSense temperature, 50mm trajectory radar leve.
- Water level.
- Temperature, humidity and pressure
- Luminosity (Luxes Precision).
- Ultrasound (outdoor IP67).
