Calvià is a privileged destination nestled between the coast and the mountains, offering a wide range of experiences 365 days a year. Discovering Calvià is a truly unique experience.
Calvià is an ideal destination for immersing yourself in nature on countless trails and paths surrounded by the sea and mountains: from the imposing Galatzó to the more than 53 km of coastline with its white sand beaches and coves, and the stunning marine reserve of the Malgrats Islands and Toro Island.
Calvià’s climate allows for year-round sports activities, with an attractive environment, excellent sports facilities, and comprehensive complementary services that make training camps or international competitions held here unforgettable experiences. The municipality boasts 5 golf courses, 4 marinas, indoor swimming pools, football pitches, and numerous gyms equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
The heritage and traditions leave no one indifferent. Being able to travel back in time, thanks to its rich archaeological heritage, such as the Puig de sa Morisca Archaeological Park, or thanks to its traditional King James Festivals commemorating the conquest of Mallorca, offers the opportunity to discover the diversity of cultures and peoples that inhabited the Balearic Islands.
And there’s also room for culture, music, and entertainment with major events like the Expanded Literature Festival in Magaluf or the Mallorca Live Festival.
| Joining the Smart Destinations project | Calvià joined the Smart Tourist Destinations project in 2019. In 2021, it carried out its first diagnostic process, culminating in the preparation of the Diagnostic Report and Action Plan for its transformation into a Smart Tourist Destination. In 2025, it completed the diagnostic process for renewing its status as an Adherent Smart Tourist Destination. |
