La Vila Joiosa, the historic capital of the Marina Baixa region, is a municipality on the Costa Blanca (Alicante), in the Valencian Community. It is located 8 km from Benidorm and 32 km from Alicante.
La Vila Joiosa has 15 kilometers of coastline offering the opportunity to enjoy 13 beaches and coves with quality certifications for both their waters and services. The municipality covers 38.5 kilometers and is home to a population of around 35,000.
La Vila Joiosa is history, gastronomy, nature, and the sea, all of which, along with its idiosyncrasies. Each of the civilizations that have passed through this land, and there have been many, have left their mark.

It cites important actions related to the green and sustainable transition, including monitoring sand loss, creating a park-and-ride parking facility at Playa Bol Nou, and more. Regarding energy efficiency improvements, beaches will be made more accessible, and solar panels will be installed on public tourist buildings, among other initiatives. Regarding the digital transition, actions related to capacity control on beaches and natural spaces are included, complementing the competitiveness axis to achieve all of this with the advice and coordination of a Smart Office and a PSTD Management Office. |
