- INVENTRIP SIERRA DE MONTÁNCHEZ AND TAMUJA TRAVEL PLANNER: The Association for the Integral Development of Sierra de Montánchez and Tamuja (ADISMONTA) has launched the Inventrip planner for the destination: a free platform and app to design itineraries, consult maps, routes, and events, and receive contextualized information even offline (QR, NFC, and beacons). In addition, destination stakeholders can update in real time events, new resources, offers, and services, synchronizing content with the regional tourism portal Corazón de Extremadura, ensuring always up-to-date information and a smarter, more connected travel experience.
- SMART SIGNAGE: ADISMONTA has deployed 109 smart signs across the 22 municipalities of the region, connecting heritage, nature, and gastronomy with visitors. The entire network incorporates QR codes and Bluetooth beacons and integrates its content with the corazondeextremadura.es portal, which consumes official Inventrip data in real time (UNE 178503 model). By type, the network includes 28 interpretive monoliths, 22 informational monoliths, 23 interpretive plaques, 18 small interpretive panels, and 18 information points. In practice, a scan provides access to maps, tracks, audio guides, schedules, and nearby resources; and if the traveler uses the Inventrip app, the deep link opens the content on the mobile device and enables proximity notifications (with consent). Result: territory and data connected, with on-site signage and cloud-based verified content, always up to date.
- TAMUSIA BIKE LOOP: ADISMONTA promotes Tamusia Bike Loop, a regional network of 7 cycling routes and 1 connector covering 20 of the 22 municipalities of Sierra de Montánchez and Tamuja. Route starting panels include smart signage (QR and beacons) to access maps, tracks, and points of interest on mobile devices. Detailed information for each route is available at tamusiabikeloop.com.
- EXTREMADURA RURAL: NETWORK OF ACCESSIBLE NATURAL TRAILS: In cooperation with other Local Action Groups and aligned with the regional development strategy, ADISMONTA promotes a network of accessible trails in Sierra de Montánchez and Tamuja. Three routes have been technologically equipped with Blind Explorer —Encina La Terrona, Montánchez, and Basilica of Santa Lucía (Alcuéscar)— through satellite navigation, 3D audio guidance, and certified accessible descriptions. This technological signage allows visually impaired people to enjoy natural and urban environments and move with a high degree of autonomy, making the destination more inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.
